I’m Justin…

I’m the founder of MindWorthy, LLC. I’m a certified spiritual master coach and spiritual consultant. I’m also an energy healer, certified at the master level in the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing. From an early age, I knew that my mission in life was to help people. I thought I would do that with a career in medicine. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in psychology, I was firmly on a track to becoming a physician assistant. I spent four years and some change gaining experience hours as a medical assistant for an orthopedic practice, finishing pre-requisite courses as I went.

During this time, I was deeply unhappy. I couldn’t understand why as I felt that my chosen path was aligned with my purpose. Something so simple yet profound occurred to me. I paused to ask myself, “Why am I unhappy?” I had the love of my partner and family, friendships, a comfortable apartment, food on my table, I was serving others - what more could I want? This launched a journey of self-inquiry and self-investment that would consume most of my thoughts in the years to follow. I studied religions and philosophies from both the East and the West, practiced meditation, learned mindset training, studied bio-energetics and energy healing, among many other things. If it had the potential to answer my burning question, I consumed it. In all that searching, I found what I had been missing: Spirituality. This developed into a passion and, after distilling all that information, my career.

I didn’t leave my medical assisting job until much later. I believed I could keep spirituality as a passion and do medicine as a career. It took many dark nights of the soul before I finally surrendered to the inner guidance that was directing me toward combining my love for helping others and spirituality. With only one prerequisite of eleven left to complete, I let go of my dream. As difficult as it was to release something I had worked toward for seven years, I knew this was in alignment with my soul.

I don’t view the years of pursuing a career in medicine as wasted time. They were necessary to direct me to where I am today. Without that deep unhappiness, the passion I developed for learning about and implementing spirituality into my life would never have been ignited. Our experiences shape all of us. Yours have shaped you. I want to take my experiences and what I’ve learned from my years of inquiry to help you. I want you to know the feeling of harnessing your spiritual power. I want you to feel what it means to live in flow with the universe. I want you to know peace, love, joy, abundance, wealth, and so much more. Each of us is worthy. Each of us is deserving of knowing the gifts of our own divinity. It all begins with a little awareness.

    As a coach, Justin doesn’t solve my problems, tell me what to do, or say what I’m doing wrong. His sessions are totally judgment free, and a place where I choose what to work on. He just keeps things manageable, and by making sure that my vision for change is as clear and tangible as possible helps me create a realistic strategy for my goals. I’ve also used him as a resource to track down information and resources for me to use that I didn’t have energy or time to look for myself. Simply put, you get out of this what you put into it. It sounds cliché, but it really is just an investment in yourself. For me, simply having a scheduled time to sit down and talk out my goals and action plans with someone whose literal job is to support me has made staying motivated way easier and far less daunting.
